The Geratherm® fusion digital thermometer combines elements of the glass thermometer with a digital thermometer. An analogue scale is built up on the large display during the measurement. The measured value can then be read off.
The measuring range of this thermometer is from 28 °C to 43.9 °C and is therefore also suitable for measuring the temperature of premature babies.
Thanks to the flexible tip of the Geratherm® fusion, the thermometer can be placed optimally rectally and orally.
The battery of this thermometer can be replaced. A low battery level is indicated on the display.

Yes, the Geratherm® fusion can be switched between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Turn on the thermometer and press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. In order to save the desired unit of measurement (°C or °F), you must complete a measurement process.
Yes, the battery can be changed in the Geratherm® fusion. Caution: Keep the thermometer and batteries away from small children. If the battery is swallowed, contact a hospital immediately. Do not throw the battery into fire, it may explode.
You can put a hygienic disposable cover on the probe to avoid virus transmission. When using disposable cases, there may be a deviation of 0.1 °C (0.2 °F) from the actual temperature. Discard the disposable sleeves after the measurement.
Disposable covers are available from the pharmacy.
Wipe the probe head with a solution of mild soapy water and cold water. Disinfect the thermometer by wiping the sensor and the lower section of the housing with a cloth previously dipped in alcohol (recommendation: isopropyl alcohol 70%). Do not boil the thermometer and do not clean it in the autoclave.
The Geratherm® fusion is not waterproof.
The Geratherm® fusion complies with IP 20, is therefore protected against solid foreign bodies with a diameter of 12.5 mm and has no protection against water.
