WHO indicator

The WHO indicator of the Geratherm® vivo evaluates your blood pressure values according to the World Health Organization's guidelines for blood pressure and displays them graphically.

The Geratherm® vivo enables precise measurement of blood pressure and pulse on the upper arm. After attaching and fitting the universal cuff, which is suitable for an upper arm circumference of 22–42 cm, just one button press is needed for a fully automatic measurement.


The device presents the blood pressure values on a large, backlit black display, guaranteeing excellent readability in all environments. This makes it particularly suitable for seniors or in low-light conditions.


The Geratherm® vivo offers automatic detection of heart rhythm irregularities and classifies the measurement results using the WHO indicator. The colour-coded display helps you determine at a glance whether your blood pressure values are within a healthy range. Additionally, the time is displayed for easy documentation of results.

The cuff fit check of the Geratherm® vivo ensures that the cuff is correctly positioned. If the cuff is too loose, the device will visually inform you on the display. Furthermore, a stillness indicator shows whether you remained still during the measurement, as recommended.


The Geratherm® vivo can be used by up to two users and one guest, storing up to 199 measurement values for each of the two users. This makes it suitable for couples and families. Additionally, the device offers the option to calculate the average of the last measurements.


Power is supplied via a USB connection or batteries (batteries and USB-C cable included). A practical storage bag is also included.

Frequently asked questions

The blood pressure monitor is intended for use by adults. The included cuff is suitable for an arm circumference of 22–42 cm. Do not use the device on infants, children, or non-verbal individuals.

 

If you suffer from certain conditions such as diabetes, have poor circulation, or are pregnant, you should consult your doctor before using the Geratherm® vivo. Also, please follow the instructions in the user manual.

 

Results can be influenced by eating, consuming alcohol or caffeinated drinks, exercise, nervousness, stress, and continuous or repeated measurements in quick succession. For further factors, please refer to the user manual.

For stationary use of the Geratherm® vivo, you should use an authorised USB charger or power adapter (not included – type SINGOF-5U-050100) with the following specifications:

Individual blood pressure changes several times a day. It is influenced by many different factors. Therefore, please take the measurements under the same conditions.

 

To clean the housing, use a cloth moistened with water or neutral detergent and then wipe dry. Avoid thinners, petrol and other aggressive cleaning agents.
