Fast result

Within just 3 minutes you will receive a reliable result, which can be read in the test window. If the control window shows a line, this has been carried out correctly. A second line tells you that you are pregnant.

Convenient application

The practical “midstream” test allows you to use it quickly and easily. Simply remove the protective cap of the applicator and urinate on the suction tip for about 10 seconds until it is soaked.

early test

With a sensitivity of 10 IU/L hCG concentration in the urine, our pregnancy test detects an existing pregnancy very early on. You can test 4 days before your period is due.

Questions and answers

The diagnostic ultra early pregnancy test detects a hormone (hCG - human chorionic gonadotropin) in your urine that your body produces during pregnancy. The amount of the hormone hCG increases during pregnancy.

The test can be carried out 4 days before the expected start (due) of the period. The start (due date) of the period is calculated as 15 days after ovulation. You can take the test at any time of the day, but your first morning urine is usually the most concentrated and contains a larger amount of hCG.

Although the Geratherm® early detect can be performed at any time of the day, the first morning urine is usually the most concentrated and contains the highest amount of hCG.

A clinical evaluation was conducted comparing the results obtained using the early pregnancy test to another commercially available urine membrane
hCG test. The consumer clinical trial included 608 urine specimens: both assays identified 231 positive and 377 negative results. Results have shown a test reliability of more than 99 % for pregnancy diagnosis on the day the period is due, compared to the second urine hCG test

The Geratherm® early detect pregnancy test detects hCG in urine at a concentration of 10 IU/L or greater. The test has been standardized to the WHO Third International Standard. The addition of LH (300 IU/L), FSH (1000 IU/L), and TSH (1,000 μIU/mL) to negative (0 IU/L) and positive (10 IU/L) specimens showed no cross-reactivity.

It means that your urine contains hCG and you are probably pregnant. See your doctor to confirm that you are pregnant and to discuss the steps you should take.

The appearance of a colored line in the control window (C) tells you that you followed the test procedure properly and the proper amount of urine was absorbed.
